Daniel E. Bustos, M.D.
Cataract Surgery & Comprehensive Ophthalmology:
Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Dr. Daniel Bustos provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye disorders including glaucoma, cataracts, and neuro-ophthalmic disease. His bedrock principal, inherited from his father who was a cardiothoracic surgeon, is to treat each patient with dignity, compassion, respect, and a personal attention to detail, which he believes every human being deserves. “…I strive to make sure my patients understand, on at least a basic level, what is wrong with their eyes, what we can do together to fix it, and what they can expect in the future, so they leave my exam room feeling better about the future of their eyes.”
Following his medical education and internship from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Bustos completed his Ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, Dr. Bustos practiced with PeaceHealth Medical Group in Eugene, Oregon, where he enjoyed a cooperative relationship with Optometry. He and his wife, Lori, have four children, and have been fortunate to have their children spend their formative years close to their grandparents.
Dr. Bustos will rotate his schedule between the Murfreesboro and Nashville clinic locations of Eye Health Partners of Middle Tennessee, Inc., beginning July 2013.
